DENTAL HYGIENE

At each check-up visit we complete a periodontal (gum disease) assessment to ensure you gum health needs are being cared for and addressed.

Dental hygiene treatment at Dental Embassy involves, professionally cleaning the teeth of the patient. This is usually called scaling and polishing which we achieve using hand scalers or ultrasonic instruments.

For those that need it, our Oral Health Therapists/Dental Hygienists diagnose and treat advance gum disease.

If you have sensitive teeth we can provide a range of options to ease discomfort.

Our most important role during the hygiene visit is showing you the best way to keep your teeth at home to prevent gum disease development.

 *For parents/guardians who are active clients with us, their children will receive gap free dental check-ups until they turn 4 years old. Please contact us to confirm eligibility for your child to have a free dental check-up.

All children are booked in with our experienced Oral Health Therapist. Oral Health Therapists are dental allied health professionals trained in preventative dental care, including paediatric dental treatments.
