Dr Srikanth Karumuri (Dr Sri)

Dr Sri completed a dedicated postgraduate program at the University of Sydney in conscious sedation. Not a weekend course, but a university qualification that covered all three sedation methods in depth.

That is what allows the practice to offer nitrous oxide, oral sedation and IV sedation rather than referring anxious patients elsewhere. It also means complex treatment can be completed in fewer, longer visits instead of being broken into many short ones. IV sedation itself is administered by Dr Anna Huang, a dedicated sedationist, so Dr Sri can concentrate on the dentistry.

He is calm and methodical, and particularly good with patients who have not seen a dentist in years. His approach is to understand what you are afraid of first, then build a plan around it.
