Dr Nitin is returning to the practice after seven years, this time working alongside Dr Sri Karumuri as a locum dentist.
Experience
Dr Nitin has been practising dentistry for over 30 years and has enjoyed caring for patients across all aspects of general dentistry throughout his career. His experience includes preventive, restorative and general dental care, with a focus on providing treatment that is appropriate, practical and tailored to each individual patient.
A Familiar Face
Having previously owned and practised at this very practice, Dr Nitin has a special connection with the practice and the Canberra community. He handed over the practice to Dr Sri Karumuri in May 2019 and has since been working as a locum dentist outside Canberra. Returning after seven years is particularly meaningful, and he is looking forward to reconnecting with patients he has known in the past as well as meeting new patients.
Approach to Care
Dr Nitin believes that good dentistry starts with listening. He aims to create a calm and comfortable environment for his patients and takes the time to understand their concerns before discussing treatment options. He has always approached dentistry with kindness, patience and care, particularly for patients who may feel anxious about dental treatment.
Looking Forward
After more than three decades in dentistry, Dr Nitin continues to enjoy the variety that general practice provides and, most importantly, the opportunity to make a positive difference to his patients' oral health and wellbeing.
